New Car

This piece, New Car, is inspired by a book I have entitled Dream Machines. This is also an homage to 1980's printed style, and by extension a look into the time before computer-based graphic design.

I wanted to take advantage of the table viewer print serial I had made--so, the outcome is this simple animation.

This is a project that I am developing, I don't know if any of these images will be in what I conceive to be a video piece of a horror flick made with shadow puppets. But, I liked the effect of making a neutral and generic boy puppet and adding different faces.

From drawing to materiality, the table viewer has come to be. Featuring images that have tables either in cafe/restaurants, or kitchens/dinning rooms. Unfortunately this sculpture is best experienced in person. But, for records sake here are some pictures.
